Turn on the news, all I see is hate,
Divisions running deep, can we make it resonate?
Pointing fingers like a loaded gun
In a battle for respect, but if that's the way we go,
Then I think we're done.
Rage of anger fill the airwaves we breathe,
Once united in purpose, now we’re ready to bleed.
The left and the right, they’re drawing a line,
Forgetting we’re human, let’s redefine the times.
Divided we fall, but together we rise,
Can’t we break these walls and see the truth in our eyes?
Instead of hating each other, let’s find a way,
To love one another, make this world okay.
Scrolling through the feeds, hatred and tweets take flight,
Somebody's always losing, but everyone is ready to fight.
In a world of opinions, we’re losing our grace,
Personal attacks are thrown within and without our base.
We’re caught in a cycle; it’s a vicious game,
Trading compassion for profits and fame.
We need a revolution, not of the fist,
But in the hearts of the people, are you getting the gist?
